For US Congress

I am running for Congress to help tackle some of the critical issues facing our country, like comprehensive immigration reform, rising healthcare costs, and education innovation.

As an immigrant, I have experienced firsthand the problems with our current immigration system.  I am confident that with some common sense, and the use of advanced technology, we can legally make the system simpler, more secure and user friendly for Americans and those wishing to immigrate.

The Leadership Our Country Needs

I am concerned about the move by many Democrats towards a socialist agenda.  I have personally experienced “democratic socialism” as a former citizen of the European Union. I can tell you unequivocally that it does not work. I know the costs and problems associated with this kind of system and the toll it exacts on working people.  I would like to add my unique perspective to the immigration reform process, while helping to keep our system as free and unencumbered by overreaching government as possible.

America was able to achieve energy independence efficiently and quickly by eliminating outdated regulations and unleashing the might of the American energy worker.

When our economy supports the power of our people to innovate, we create the conditions in which our people thrive.

Without immigration reform, our job creators will not be able to grow their companies or satisfy the year round demand for both skilled and un-skilled labor.  If we don’t improve the system we will not be able to insure that workers wages are fair and that working conditions are safe for everyone.

Fixing healthcare is not about ideology, it is about practicality. Many presidential candidates, along with their counterparts in Congress, are touting socialized medicine as the answer.  If implemented, any form of socialized medicine would suppress growth in the US economy, limit choice, force taxpayers to pay more, and generate a huge government run bureaucracy.

I have experienced first-hand socialized medicine in Europe, and I can tell you it did not provide the type of healthcare access and quality of care that citizens deserve.

We must allow our educators to experiment and continue to develop new educational models going forward.

We must continue to broaden and diversify what we can offer our students in education if we want to prepare them properly.  This is particularly important in the urban and rural areas where students are at risk of falling behind.

“Being a campaign volunteer was one of the best things I ever did, and many of the people I met are still friends today.  Spending time with people who want to be part of something bigger than themselves is really inspiring.  Just knowing that your actions will help decide who will represent an important district like the PA 6th is really exhilarating. “
